Join us for our annual Planting Hope community picnic on June 5th at the Itasca Resource Center!

Join us from 11:00am – 1:00pm as we host a community picnic for the building patrons, resource center staff, and our community to recognize the vital work for the well-being of our community that happens at the Itasca Resource Center every day. Our friends and neighbors who are in need of HOPE frequent the Itasca Resource Center every day.
Please join us for our community picnic! No RSVP required!

Did you know?
- Over 6,000 people live in poverty in Itasca County – this number only includes those
below the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines which excludes everyone who is just
above the poverty line yet without enough income to meet basic needs. - Nearly 50% of K-12 students in our area schools receive free or reduced price lunches.
Many of these families rely on safety net services. - People experiencing poverty are more likely to be depressed.

finances, hunger, child support, mental health needs, immunizations, job loss, training,
employment, disability services, family supports, infant and pre-natal nutrition,
parenting services, preschool education, crisis services, and more…….
